This track has been formed on the edge of a shingle beach. It follows the coast line north towards Timaru harbour and is good for cycling. The sea on one side, where the occasional seal, penguin or surfer adds a touch of life to the view. There is a drinking fountain at Fraser Street car park (1). Heading North the track ends at the break water. If you wish to continue, keep following the track on Stuart Street, Hayes Street and Port Loop Road to Caroline Bay. From Pātītī Point car park (2) or the cemetery (3) head south to Otipua Wetlands and Tuhawaiki (Jack’s) Point tracks.
