Peel Forest DOC Campground
The popular and large DOC (Department of Conservation) campground located beside the Rangitata River is surrounded by native podocarp forest in the Peel Forest Reserve which features a number of spectacular walking tracks. NOTE: The campground is closed from May to mid-September each year.
